My boring or classic? Rolex+ collection
You really shouldn’t worry about what others think of your collection. You curated this collection your way. It’s your preferred style that matches your personality.
Me personally wouldn’t have a collection like this, every single one being similar monotonous colors and styling. I prefer variety of styles, function, colors. I don’t match my watch to my clothing. Nor do I match the watch to the activity. |

I think you have a great collection.
You have selected each piece for particular characteristics that suit you, and you have done that well. |

A simple way to enlight your collection would be to change bracelet to a nice leather strap on one of your 5 digits Sub!
Or consolidate by trading old Sub, Explorer and white OP for a PM piece (Daytona on OF maybe). Would definitely keep white flutted DJ! Envoyé de mon iPhone en utilisant Tapatalk |

I personally would only make 1 move here. I'd keep the 16610. I'd add the other 2 Submariners to the OP39 and trade that for a Pepsi. And then I'd call it a day. The other thing I'd consider is if your Speedy Pro is the Hesalite version, switching to a Sapphire sandwich. Just my personal preference, but I'd like to have at least 1 watch with a fairy decently finished/decorated movement that is visible. Definitely no need for a traditional dress watch. You have the DJ41, ExpI, or the Speedy (on strap) that can easily do dress watch duties these days. |

Ain't nothing wrong with black and white. That said, your collection seems to be asking you for a PM addition?

Most people would look at your collection or any collection and say , that’s boring it’s just a bunch of watches .

Hi all, thanks a lot for the brilliant reactions!!! You guys are the best. I have to apologize sincerely because my original post was horribly unclear!!! I selected the pieces of my collection that I am constantly debating whether they are all I need, or too basic. They are not my only pieces. It's been fantastic to read all of your insights, half making me feel like the minimalist watch collector I WISH I WAS, and the other half calling the collection boring. I feel like you are all right. Part of me wishes I could just take even one of these and call it a day. Probably one of the subs. But I'm too far gone!!

There’s a lot of heart in that collection; it really shines. I can see a theme of “simple, good design” in your watches. Congratulations!

Sell everything, keep the vintage date sub and speedy. Add a new SS and PM Rolex. Think it would liven things up since you had to ask. More wrist time in a 4 piece heavier hitting collection.
