Wife's incoming - Yachtmaster 37

AD called out of the blue! I thought they had already left me for dead after about 4 years of random visits. (They hadn't told me directly but I'd overheard some of the staff telling people not to expect any SS models without a previous purchase history...)

Anyway I'd had the YM37 on the wish-list for my wife and here it is! They left some of the stickers on. Anniversary is coming up so that will be the excuse for buying it

I had already previewed it with her a few months ago via the online app, she liked this over a TT DJ36. I think it's the perfect balance between somewhat sporty, a little blingy, a little different - I've never seen one in the wild.

Sales gal said I'm now bumped up for a GMT in the future. We'll see... not holding my breath

Congrats!

It will be our 21st! Was thinking of just sticking it in the safe and saving it for a 'bigger' milestone but you know what? Life is short and unpredictable. We're in good health and still like each other (well most of the time ) so I think I'll give it to her now

I saw one of these in the case when I picked up my SD43, and I immediately thought it would look stunning on a woman’s wrist. I’m blessed that my wife doesn’t have a taste for watches and other expensive jewelry, or I would have brought it home with me. Although I was a little rueful, as it is a beautiful watch.

Congratulations to you and your wife!

Congratulations! I’m sure she will love it. I wear the 40 and my wife has eyed it so it may be in her future as well…

I love that watch and proportionately it even looks better at that smaller size. It looks more balanced.

I wish the oysterflex white gold Daytona had that dial rather than the steel color.

Congrats to you and your wife, I’ve been trying to source that exact watch at my AD for awhile now…and I have a little purchase history too. Can’t wait for a wrist shot!

Just got the white gold Daytona on OF. Love the dial and contrast between the steel and black. Don’t think it would look as good with this blue dial…

Congratulations OP! I’m sure the wife will love it!
