ROO 43 vs 44
Curious to hear from owners of both which watch they prefer and why.

ROO 43 vs 44
I prefer the 43 more and am getting used to the new subdial layout. The 43 is better is in every way as the lines are softer and it’s way more ergonomic and will fit more wrist sizes
I wear the 44 to the last hole but am comfortably on the second to last hole on the 43 Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk |

43 all the way for me. Found 44 laughably big, like kid wearing dad's suit for my wrist size. And I felt I could barely pull off a Panerai 44 but did not think I could pull off ROO 44 with the lug overhang.
Also curvature fit was way more comfortable ergonomically on 43. |

Both are gorgeous, I don't have either so take my opinion with a grain of salt but that 44 is huge looking... You'd need a big wrist to make it look proportional...

Definitely 43.
New in-house movement with flyback chronograph. Much more manageable lug-lug dimension. Quick-change strap options. Quick release buckle too. The new tapisserie is dynamic and sporty. Slightly curved crystal causes subtle light play, which is wonderful. Date is further away from the center. Crown’s edges are rounder and winding of watch is less painful… although less grip is a trade-off here. Pushers look more integrated with the watch case. The rubber strap is definitely softer and more comfortable. |

I'm clearly in the minority but I vastly prefer the look and feel of the 44. I actually just traded my 43 for another 44, which I now have 3 of.
The quick change strap is fantastic but only a few color options unfortunately at this time. The watch itself seemed much smaller on my wrist than only 1mm which I wasn't a fan of and my main reason to trade it out |

Can some 43mm owners post pics from a slight distance? And include your wrist size please.
Like in a mirror so we can see how the watch sits in a more realistic context. I have a 6.75" wrist and am waiting for a 43mm but get worried it'll be overwhelmingly large. I know exactly what Macro means "kid in dad's suit", definitely don't want that! It's so hard to gauge size and suitability from the closeup wrist shots. |

I prefer the chrono layout of the 44 but as for the size I find it too big. I was able to try it on around 2012 which was when big watches was pretty much the norm but still found it too big. 42mm was the largest i would go for a roo. But now I really like the 43mm unless AP releases a 42mm with a contrasting bezel in RG.

The 43 seems better in every way EXCEPT I have not yet been able to get used to the subdial layout. I found that was unique to the ROO and in a way I am sad to see it go in favor of the RO layout.

ROO 43 vs 44
43 is much more comfortable to wear for a regular sized wrist.
But, if you are taller or your wrist size is larger than most, 44mm has better proportions in my opinion. |

Waiting for a rose gold 43mm, ever since I've seen it I've been in love with it.
