which year the Lady's president date just band start to use solid link instead of hollow? What is the model number?

Want to buy something for my wife, hate to get something that can be easily stretched.

It's not so much if its solid or hollow but in what condition the bracelet is that matters. I have seen solid bracelets streched and hollow ones that look like new. Find the best watch for the price you can afford and don't worry so much what series it is.

To check the stretch of a bracelt:

Pick up the watch from the case. Use your Index finger and Thumb to hold the case from the crystal and the back cover and keep it at the vertical.

Let the bracelet come to a Horizontal position, or as close as possible.

Check how much it droops. The less the better. All bracelets will droop a little, even the new ones. But this should be a nice gentle droop.

When the bracelet is stretched, the droop will increase in proportion.

In the Jubilee bracelet, when this is stretched, the bracelet will simply fall to a near vertical position.

This is my method of checking. Takes 10 seconds and is always accurate.
