Explorer 14270 dials

I'm in the market for a Rolex Explorer 14270 specifically pre 1995. I've noticed when looking at the dials is that doesn't have the expected "T-Swiss" but some have the "Swiss Made". I was under the assumption the "Swiss Made" dials are from 1999

Is this correct? Or is there some overlap?

I have an A serial with the "Swiss Made" dial, they went to Luminova in the late 90's hence the missing "T"

I love the 14270. I have an A serial 14270 from 1999 or so and it has a "swiss only" dial and no holes case. I really like this watch and find it to be low key in a good way. I would have preferred a holes case tritium dial...but I got a good deal on this one and couldn't pass it up.

I wish I hadn't sold mine. I let it go when I got one of the early 39mm Explorers, only to ultimately find that I didn't like the larger size.
