Keep us posted!

The bracelet must’ve come undone at the micro adjustment as you mentioned. Very unlikely the clasp opened up with the safety flip lock.

That's a big disappointment, so sorry to hear, would haunt me for weeks. Looking forward to reading your post tomorrow, found in the snow. Good luck Robert.

Keep looking, hopefully someone finds it and is honest enough to return it. Spread the word around the areas you went to. Can't hurt to try.

Do you remember seeing it while snow boarding at least? I’m guessing no.

Process of elimination brother. I truly do hope you find it. Lost my wallet once on Thanksgiving day rushing to the grocery store. Fell out while getting back into the car leaving the grocery store. Luckily a police officer visiting from another state found it, then found me, and nothing was lost but a few hours of my time.

Off topic but I feel for you brother. Keep us posted

Took a pick of the watch at 1230 today, prob last time I looked at it. Unfortunately i don’t wear winter gloves either I wear the thin cotton ones so I can have better hand control. I imagine if it just slipped off and didn’t break off it wouldn’t have made it past a winter glove but would slip right off these thin gloves, just trying to imagine what happened.

Thanks again everyone.

When I purchased it, it was a little loose and I like my watch snug so the salesman flicked open clasp as I don’t have fingernails and he did the ez link and it fit snugly. The only thing I can think of is it wasn’t in all the way and it took 5 weeks to pop out. Who knows. Great suggestions here everyone, appreciate all the words of encouragement and as said it’s just a watch so it can be replaced and it was insured. Just very sad as it was my favorite watch and just can’t believe it’s not on my wrist right now. Feel naked without it.

I have checked all clothing, house, truck a few times. Been looking for hours. I will assemble a team and hit all the spots again tomorrow with a metal detector as well.

I really hope you find the watch. One of my first post here was about the 5mm adjustment of the clasp on my new Pepsi. When the watchmaker at my AD did the adjustment, he pulled the bracelet apart really hard. He said he did this to ensure that it was done correctly and if it wasn't then there was a chance that the pin could be loose and the watch would just fall off of my wrist. I assume this is what happened to you unfortunately. Search the areas where you may have taken off your jacket as it could have gotten loose and remained in your jacket until it fell off or something. Hopefully it was insured and you get a new one if you can't find it. Good luck.

Did AD take any links out and not use Loctite to secure screw(s)? Just thinking with the shovelling and all that movement with the other events pin may have backed off and slipped off releasing the link. Just a thought. Hopefully the sun is bright and temperature assists in your search. Best of luck and keep retracing your steps into the Spring while the snow dissipates.
Know someone who lost their Rolex playing golf in Canada and was found two years later, turned into the Pro Shop and soon after reunited with owner. There is always hope.
Hope you find it long before that.

I’d be so gutted, must have been a spring bar or micro adjustment giving way… any big falls or impacts during the day? Hopefully it’s just around where you were shovelling but under snow.

My stomach dropped reading this... can you form a search party? Are you in the Philly burbs? I’ll come drink scotch and search with you (you supply the scotch).

I am really sorry.

I hope you are able to find it.

Can you enlist the kids and their friends to help look for it? I've found kids are often very good at searching for things.

Good luck in finding your watch. On the upside, thankfully it was insured. I doubt the watch would "slip" over your hand. More than likely a screw backed out from one of the links and it fell off your wrist.

I left my wallet in a restaurant in the Caribbean in the pre mobile phone days. Plus, I was on a sailing vacation, so there was literally no way for anyone to get it to me even if they wanted to. The next night the skipper of our bare boat took the dinghy into town (a different town, on a different island) put out an inquiry on "the coconut telegraph" and came back the next morning with my wallet and all of its contents. The available credit sitting in that wallet could've bought a couple of Daytonas. But no one entertained the notion of a freebie, and I understand several people had the opportunity. Sometimes there's more integrity out there than you might think.

Did you have insurance? I have what they call “ mysterious loss” so in your scenario I would be reimbursed in full. Hope you get it back

Oh my gosh, what a horrible feeling to have that happen. I hope you find it.

I had a nightmare the other day that I lost my 116500LN Panda. Woke up to realized it was a dream and felt so relieved.

Maybe you took it off before you did those activities. And since you normally don’t do those activities……..

Look where you would have possibly put the watch prior to doing what you did.
