I wear my sub daily swimming, 180 degree dry sauna, steam sauna, ice and hot cold plunge nearly daily. Beat the crap out of it and no issues.

I won't wash my hands whilst wearing my Sub.... Too risky. Your Sub should be in the safe where it can't be harmed.

Never!

Look at the name on the watch. Tells you everything you need to know.

Is this really a thing? It’s not really a risk. It’s a submariner man!
Unless your talking about super vintage stuff

Never. I would never put anything that sounds like a submarine in water :)

I take all my Rolex watches in the water. You shouldn't be afraid.

a submariner should be confined to a locked safe; same way a submarine should be confined to a dry dock (NOT!)

I used to surface swim with my Nautilus, I dive with my Sub. i was going to dive with my Daytona but wimped out and just used the sub instead. I'm sure the Daytona would have been fine at 20m.

It was on my wrist here years ago, and it’s been on my wrist diving, surfing, swimming at the beach, boating, snow skiing, tactical shooting classes and competitions, tracking my car, in the pool, on all my travels, and it always looks great!

No - because I can't swim very well, and I'm worried if I drown someone may steal my Submariner whilst giving CPR etc.
