For a jumbo I'd imagine there is a huge difference, given that in another 50 years the jumbo will still be being talked about, but for a ROC I'd honestly say the same won't be true.

Thus I'd very much like a jumbo this year, but if I can't have the blue faced ROC this year then I'll wait until next year and could care less.

p.s.

Congrats.

Yes I agree as the watch itself will be identical for the ROC and tbh next year could be a little easier to acquire.

Possible, but just looking at TRF there already is a long list of people resigned to not getting a RO/ROC this year and looking forward to 2023. I think the insane demand in 2022 may have a knock-on effect for a couple of years. And of course the whole cycle feeds on itself.

Somewhat related, AP seems to have done a pretty careful job weeding out flippers for the anniversary releases. E.g., nothing on C24 yet. With supply minimal, initial asks for the 50th anniversary models will be insane, further feeding the craziness.

Mine as well. From what I understand, this certificate is going to accompany every 50th anniversary RO. It's a very nice touch.

Will the previous 38mm Chronos 26315ST continue to be produced or will there only be the 26715ST in the future ?

Just speculation, but the anniversary collection moved to a new unified design language for the RO/ROC lines, distinguished the Jumbo as the only one with AP logo. It would seem to make little sense to introduce these new design principles, but then produce old and new models side-by-side (or go back to the old mix of things after a year).

Agree. Think it will be discontinued as well. Even the ceramic black ladies with the "AP" logo has been stopped and transited into the new applied logo design language. Only ran for a few months

Just FYI, I was with AP today and I can confirm that ‘old’ RO references that are carried over to this year DO NOT have the 50th rotor, even though the watch itself was only completed by the magical elves at Le Brassus in 2022 - which makes perfect sense and is as it should be.
