They are all impossible. The least impossible is grey 26315, replaced this year by 26715. Fits perfectly on the wrist.

There’s no “easiest” unless you’re after the code 11.59 chrono

AP won’t put you on any RO list of any kind at the moment. Demand is crazy and they hold all the cards.

RO or ROO very near impossible now for first time buyer. Code still very attainable

Walk in and get a code on the spot or in a few weeks. They are still very nice though, and you will be able to buy something else later with some patience

The 38s since there’s no special rotor and it’s the FP movement still. Won’t be easy by any stretch

go for a 37mm offshore with diamonds. That should be easier

Given the current availability, I'd look into some vintage 25860 / 26300 - you can never go wrong with these models

I think visiting in person and asking after introductory chat will give you the best answer, assuming you can get to one relatively easily.

Chrono might be fractionally easier, as it doesn't have the 50th anniversary rotor, but w/o history or other extenuating circumstances, it's epsilon vs epsilon^2.

Been on the list since 2019 for black w/ grey sub dial. Myself and family members have history/service history etc etc with the AD also.

Wouldn't even consider going grey for a stainless steel watch that was $30K and now closer to $100K.

I have been on a wait list for a 26420 for three months and was lucky enough to be allocated a piece when someone backed out. I was very surprised it happened so quickly though, so it is doable.

I did not. I only visited the store three times and the first time I couldn’t even “get in” because I had not scheduled an appointment. I suspect I just got really lucky.

I did receive an email from them only a few days prior saying AP was looking for more info on potential clients and they wanted to know what we did for work, hobbies etc…
Seemed odd to me but I told them my wife and I are Marines, and we love watches and traveling. A few days later i got the offer.

Who knows, but no complaints here!
