Then maybe at some point I’ll get a Rolex dealer who says I’m “on the list” to actually call me and say they have a watch for me. But I’m not holding my breath.
Nice to see you here Sherpa

What's funny is he considered the persona "Epic." If you peruse any of his posts, most of us were quite respectful and welcoming. I mean, the fact that he got 'bored' of his troll character is exactly the proof his attempt failed.

Also, he never got banned. Case of a guy making up his own reality. Pretty sad to see so conspicuously.

Ferrari not rolling out the red carpet has ruffled one or two billionaires as well.

He calls folks that tolerate it masochistic,

I call it literally a company not 'selling out' on their higher-end cars.

Rolex - Porsche
Made in large numbers, very popular. Long history and can go toe to toe with more expensive brands. Incredibly versatile, never the wrong choice but sometimes difficult to acquire depending on the model

Patek - Ferrari
Classy with a rich heritage, often with the most desirable models

AP - Lamborghini
Striking and iconic design instantly recognizable throughout the generations

JLC - Lotus
Often underappreciated, regarded as the enthusiast's choice. Engineering expertise often provided for other major OEM's

Ferrari makes cars that are a work of art! Porsche does too, but only on the upper end models.

Jay has a McLaren F1 and drives it. That makes him A-OK with me.

People in India have bought special edition Ferraris as their first Ferrari. Ferrari dealers don’t care two hoots about the buyer…. If you can pay for it you can get it. Car can be sold 1 month after buying Ferrari has no control over it. Please do some fact checks.

And Ferrari is doing SUVs now. They follow market trends. I don’t see Rolex following a fad or doing the unthinkable. They’re way more conservative. They’re not comparable to each other.

What's a brake job cost on a Ferrari?

I drove mine to Walmart and they said they didn't have the parts.

While I normally abhor watch pictures with a European car’s steering wheel, the colors look cool in this photo lol.

Love this comparison. Very interesting.

Tudor - Merc? Lexus?

Might Patek Phillipe be better represented by a Rolls Royce? The abbreviations PP and RR are made for each other.

Do you remember the Datejust 2 and DD 2 both in the XL sizing we have never seen before. Same could be said about the DSSD, but with the DJ2 and DD2 they were clearly going after the bling bling lovers.

I have owned two ferraris and none of that has been my experience. Buying a Ferrari was very much like what buying a Rolex used to be like, you walked into the dealer spec’d out what you wanted, put down a deposit and waited for your car to arrive. Maybe it’s different for a limited edition that cost 1mm but your run of the mill standard cars was a matter of waiting for delivery.
