Some will hate it because of the crown, the rivets, no cyclops, stainless clasp etc, but I think it's great. The price-point is real bonus too, well played Tudor

I think it’s a good looking watch. A Tudor interpretation of the original Rolex root beer GMT.

Solid gold bezel, solid gold crown, first 2 links of bracelet are solid gold, remainder of links gold capped (not plated).

No, I’m sorry but I think it’s a bit of an eyesore.

It's a hard pass from me.

1) Doesn't hold a candle to the Rolex version.
2) I really don't think it looks nice.

It really captures the vibe of the vintage models with the colours.

I really like it.

Not crazy about the TT bracelet but think the black strap or even the nato really suits it.

People saying it’s not as good as the Rolex version - maybe not but at around a quarter of the price, I wouldn’t expect it to be!

It’s a yes from me

Exactly on point with the vintage comment.

I like the idea of it, but the coloring just feels off to me for some reason.

I am a huge Tudor fan but do not like this reference. If I wanted a Root Beer I would buy the Rolex. The Tudor GMT works for me for some reason but the TT does not.

A buddy of mine point that out and I think it explains why I’m not crazy about it but couldn’t put my finger on why.

I like it but I know most seem to hate it. I guess a little too much of a CHNR homage for people's liking. I do think it may have worked better without the brown on the bezel.

I like the aesthetic a lot, but for me not enough to purchase. Then again, maybe on strap.

Nice photos but neither is the Root Beer. Nice flex tho getting your solid precious metal pieces in a root beer thread

Just cannot stand the rivets on ANY watch. Makes me think of the 70’s “man” with his shirt unbuttoned halfway down from the collar with gold chains imbedded in his chest hair.
Now, if it were truly a vintage watch that originally had a rivet bracelet, I CAN appreciate it, but still think it’s useless and ugly.

Looks very retro and I hate cyclops anyway.
And not a fan of the rivets mine doesn't have them.
The way Rolex are just becoming investment items I think Tudor is well on the up.

Wasn't meant as a flex. If it was I would have posted all my precious metal pictures up lol
I just grabbed the first couple of pictures from my image hosting site.
Sorry if the pictures were offensive. I promise to day better

Moving back onto topic, the Tudor looks horrible. As ever they introduce some nice pieces and some horrendous pile of s**t.

And that's coming from a Tudor fan who is sitting here wearing a Pelagos.

To post about the actual topic, this piece is just okay to me. I certainly understand why they went this direction. I think it’s natural to add a root beer variant. Like most watches, it boils down to subjective taste and for my money I’d go with something else in the Tudor lineup. I am looking forward to seeing one in the metal though.
