Upgrade DJ41 for YM

Thinking of upgrading my DJ41 for a stainless blue dial yachtmaster. Love the watch, does anyone know if the height of the case is big/tall like the milgauss/airking/sky? Or thin like a DJ. Thanks in advance!

The "Captain America" ym40 bluedial 126622 has a case that is shaped like the daytona. Curvy. Hugs your wrist and wears lower than Daytona. It is taller than DJ I believe.

Definitely wears taller than the DJ, but lower than a Sub.

It’s a comfortable watch. If you wear your watch loose, the DJ will likely be more comfortable for you.

The Yachtmaster is definitely thinner than the Milgauss or Airking. It is one of the thinner Rolex sport watches. Closer to a datejust in height but a touch heavier because of the platinum bezel.

Yatchmaster is slim indeed. My wife who isn’t big sports a 40mm model with ease. Only 40mm in rolex that works for her. And it’s stunning

I have a GMT II and the YM Slate, the YM feels much smaller, less blocky, and is super comfortable. I'm actually doing the opposite to you. Now I have a Sub, GMT and YM I'm eyeing up DJ41's. From what I can tell the DJ41 & YM are really quite similar.

I gotta reiterate I just LOVE the YM. Its really comfortable.

Wears very close to my Daytona. Lower profile than a sub. Super comfortable.

I have a DJ II and YM 40.

Obviously the DJ II is bigger than the DJ41, however, the case design is similar. The YM is smaller and wears so nicely. I wear my watch against my wrist in front of the bone and it’s perfect!

Keep both if you can that’s a great professional/classic combo that can be worn in so many situations.

Agree. You will love the YM blue dial. Amazing watch and my most comfortable Rolex.

the YM40 116622 is 11.6mm thick, less than a Sub. I would imagine the 126622 is as thin, if not marginally thinner than the 116622.
