Yes some parts of the world called Sea Robin in the UK we call them Gurnards.Most throw them back because they say they are ugly and grunt.But when cooked correctly its one of the best tasting fish of the British Isles!.

It seems like every time you go bottom fishing at the Jersey Shore for Flounder, its an equal ratio of Sea Robins and Flounders.

+1.Though most fishermen consider them trash fish here in NJ,they are,in fact ,good eating.Nice firm white flesh that fillets off like a chicken breast on the larger fish.Batter'em,deep fry'em and hit'em with a little lemon and hot sauce and they're great.
