Very cool! Was it the Victorian era when it was very popular to keep a portrait of the eye of your beloved? Might have been for the more clandestine relationships, though... not readily identifiable except by the one possessing the portrait. But eye digress....

100% correct my friend. Too bad they were out of focus, but with all the beer I had consumed they seemed to have been in focus at the time.

They do have autofocus on cameras now, just for that sort of thing...

This is a photo of my wife's eye when I came home with my last watch. She didn't say a word but as you said, "eyes are the key to the soul". I think she gets it from her mother!
