If you're talking about the two OF versions, I would point out the Daytona is the only one that doesn't feature the mini glide lock, which makes the competition a lot closer, IMO.

If you're talking about a steel Daytona at MSRP vs. pretty much anything else in the world, well, that's a horse of a different color.

Daytona vs YM, all day, every day.

I have the RG YM40 and it's way better than I expected.
I'll take a rotating bezel and a date over a chrono

Easy way to decide this. Do you like a three handed movement or a chrono movement where the sub-dial seconds is the only piece moving unless chrono is running?

YM 40 vote here…and I just happened to pick one up today!

This is like asking if someone likes vanilla or chocolate. The Daytona has never spoken to me despite the hype. I will never own one and much prefer the Omega chronographs to the Daytona. The 38 mm is just icing on the cake for me to never consider one. It looks like a ladies watch on my wrist

Definitely Daytona. I eventually got a YM40 recently but not the Everose (a blue 126622).

I looked at a Everrise YM today and really liked it (demo version). Yeah, I wish it was a 42 tho.

I just want to add that while the Daytona is the easy choice, the YM40 in RG is really something special. It has the stunning matte dial unlike the steel or WG/YG models, and while mixed with the RG hour surrounds, and red text it looks amazing. It stands out while being totally low key.

It also seems like it was born to live on a strap, which I love as I am a low key guy that does not want a full gold bracelet. I have gotten so many compliments on mine, it is just something you do not see every day and different from the many Daytonas/Subs and other Rolex you run into.
