I'm usually doing 10 things at a time, so most of my interactions are through texting. I tell people that if they really need to communicate, that's the best way. About 4 hours a day I'm driving a school bus. If we get caught on our phone while driving, either texting, or talking, it's an automatic termination. So, text me and I'll get back to you during a break.

If it’s my family I just call but my business partner or clients if we had been texting I confirm now is good for a call. People are so accustomed to text they don’t like unsolicited calls and often will not answer lol

There are certainly times where I text (eg I know my husband is in a meeting), but then I send a substantive text. A cryptic text of “call me when you can” isn’t helpful and, I think, is counter-productive. “I’m going to the store. Do we need milk?” is appropriate for a text. |

I don’t text before calling.
I let Siri tell me. “Siri, what is Chewie doing right now?” Siri: He’s ranting again on TRF. His phone is on low battery. His data plan is almost depleted from “manscaping” website downloads. His heart rate is elevated. He needs more sleep. He hasn’t completed his rings in a month. The ApplePay credit card is overdrawn. The backdoor is unlocked. He’s listening to that Star Wars podcast again. Outside of that, he’s ready to take a call, shall I ring him? “Nevermind”. REPORTED… (beat ya to it) Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk Pro

What bugs me, is when someone texts me to call them.
Just call me. You put more effort into texting. You could have just called.

I don't understand...are you saying you answer your own phone? That's not very rich person like, and you're apt to get yourself reported if you continue to do so!
