How to know if dial swap has been done
Got my first Rolex from an AD last month. Officially a Rolex owner !
Looking for another Rolex, was thinking about getting one from Chrono24. Specifically looking at getting a Wimbledon dial. If I am buying without box and Papers, how would I know if the watch was dial swapped with a regular DJ? |

A Wimbledon dial is a regular version DJ?!
Buy with box and papers and you’ll have leas concern over this possibility. |

Some cards (but certainly not all) mention the dial type, e.g. "Slate roman numerals" - don't expect to see the card saying "Wimbledon"!

Nothing wrong with a swapped out dial as long as it's available on the model in question. Which is why Rolex offers various models with various dial options, various bezel options, and various bracelet options.

the white hang tag have number printed on it which specify the dial type.
