My experience is the opposite. There is an over supply of attractive women here. Any guy with a decent job and a crappy $3K/month apartment in the East Village seems to be rolling in female attention. In the real world women expect you to have a car, own a house, have a retirement fund, etc. Here you barely have to show up.

In today's churning world, it's a virtual "mind"-field out there... trying to find three very important basics to nurture a long term relationship: someone who makes a person feel safe, accepted and valued. Kindness and respect are the primary tools.
We can make a lot of our own happiness, but being happy with someone else takes work. A lot of it. Continually.

In my aged world, Dear Abby (started in 1956) and Ask Ann Landers (began months earlier) were popular syndicated newspaper columns giving advice on relationships, achy hearts...Now, we turn to the Rolex Forum and Chewy...LOL (Just kidding)

We obviously need a sub forum called Dear Chewy....

My brother in law has been sleeping with my mom who just got out of prison but it's causing conflict with my dad who just fathered a child with my cousin Ernestine who is a crack head. My question is, is there someone I can sue here for emotional distress because I really need the money to fix my teeth, and my car.
