VC 222 size question

My wife really likes the 222 but she is concerned about the size as it is an integrated bracelet watch. Does anyone know what is the span of the watch at its widest point. (I assume that lug-to-lug is not going to be a good measure due to the flare from the bracelet.)

It would be wonderful if any of the 222 owners can do a wristshot on a ladies' wrist.

TIA

Widest point would be the diameter, 37mm? Not including crown. Or you mean how tall? It's similar in footprint to AP 15450

No, I think the OP means that with integrated bracelets, the bracelets do not always fall straight down from the lugs. They protrude out from the case/lugs before they start to hinge downward.

Therefore, the "widest" part of the watch would not be the case in that situation. It would be where the watch bracelet actually starts to hinge downward to 90 degrees straight down from the case.

The watch wears very much like a 39mm

Very similar to AP jumbo 16202

Buy it for “her”. It’s too large, so you then get it. Done

Yes. The 37mm does not sound too intimidating but the flare will probably need a wrist span of much larger than 37mm to carry it.

I think the 39mm 16202 is more wrist friendly than the 15202 as the bracelet curves down sooner than 15202? To me the old 15202 actually wears larger than the 41mm RO and I have not had a chance to see a 16202 yet.

Not sure I agree with that statement. The 15202 wears much smaller than the 15500. The 16202 wears almost the same as the 15202. Haven't see the 222, but am on the list myself
