I wouldn't use the word 'boring.' To me, it's more subtle. It doesn't announce its presence with fanfare, yet, when spotted, it never fails to bring a smile to my face.

Both… I decided to buy the Sub 41 this year after having let the previous model go. The wow factor isn’t there for me anymore but it is so versatile. I can’t foresee ever letting it go.

It’s not my daily but I enjoy wearing it.

It’s perfect, one of the best timepiece ever produced IMO.

There are many subs, but this one is mine. Its been on my wrist more days than not over almost a quarter century. Its been with me over job interviews, graduations, birthdays, funerals, and birth of various family members. It was also gifted to me by my deceased mother back in the last 1990's. Many people buy a watch to be trendy or fashionable, but mine has meaning and nit the kind one buys from getting a used or preowned one and keeping it in the safe, but wearing it day in and day out not just once in a while for the instasnaps.

Now that I think about it I prefer my 16600.

A masterpiece of engineering in a very similar package.

Let’s see RyanJ take his Invicta down to 4000ft?

Perfect? I guess that depends on your definition of perfect. Perfect timekeeper, perfect wearing, perfect fashion accessory etc etc etc

Boring? I doubt the watch is boring, but people can and do become bored with it.

I prefer to use the word bland. Yes, I would agree it is an icon and sought after and looks like a Rolex Submariner so much I bought a Sea-Dweller because it didn't look so much like a Submariner. Ended up buying the Submariner too, because it looked more like a Submariner :-)

Didn't like the bland so changed out the bezel insert which many purists will shudder at. Hey, its my watch.

Pic with it and my wife's not so bland Red Devils Breitling Chronomat.
