The yellow and red are gone across the board, but AFAIK only the 41 lost turquoise.

OP 36 white is the best watch of recent years. The color and the texture is one of a kind. They didn’t make them for too long, a very short 20 month run. Will there be another white dial? Yes, but doubtful that the texture will be repeated.

Right, that was part of the reason I took issue. Ensuring that they're able to produce these watches at scale and quality is something that should have been done prior to launch.

I find the colors to be quite nice and agree that they're an improvement over the prior versions. I purchased the Pink 36 for my wife (which she loves) and would be happy to add the green for myself if it ever becomes readily available.

Correct. 36mm & 31mm turquoises are still produced.

I know ADs hate these colourful dials and 1 even told me they were so happy when they discountinued some of them. The demand was so high for them cause of the price point and they would get less turquoise dial OPs a year then they got steel Daytona's. For a watch with so little profit margin in it for them it wasn't worth the crowd management that went along with them.

The only part that still makes no sense to me is why they kept the 31and 36mm turquoise in the lineup but took out the 41.

Very interesting. So you think that ADs complaining to corporate about the issue you noted sparked a corporate decision to discontinue? Something was too popular and bringing too many people into the stores? I suppose for that to make sense financially, on the demand side at least, Rolex would need to have thought (1) the OP desire was displacing desire from other pieces it would prefer to sell; (2) taking away the OP colors would restore a net profitable amount of desire in those other pieces. Meanwhile, we also have a QC theory in this thread. If true, perhaps that contributed to supply-side cost considerations in the decision as well.

Probably to return the OP to its position as the "entry" Rolex. Sounds like too many people holding out for turquoise 41 as a grail watch/ego purposes. As more other pieces become available (DJ41, Subs, YM, etc.) Rolex doesn't want customers passing as they wait for the OP of their dreams.

Didn't see this before replying to same post you did, but yes, this, exactly
