I have the panda version on order from an AD in Vegas... hopeful it will arrive in late May/Early June. These pictures are making me impatient!

These look amazing. How do these wear when compared to a modern GMT or Sub? Weight wise much heavier? Thanks!

I wondered if anyone has experience with this breitling base movement.

Whilst it is solid and keeps great time I have found that the chrono reset mechanism is woolly.

Mainly if I have been running the chrono for let’s say greater than 30mins. I stop and press reset. The reset doesn’t always engage.

I’ve made sure the collar is fully open. Today for example the reset moved the chrono seconds hand about 5 seconds towards reset before stopping the reset. The chrono was at 65 min and 34 seconds. Another hard press and it reset fully. I can’t replicate this afterwards. I probably need to run it 30 mins or so.

Is it just lack of refinement in the pushers or maybe an issue?

Is it just me?

Pleased to join the club. I just got mine yesterday. Such a stunning watch, esp the crispness of the white dial.

I tried to run the chrono for 30mins and then 45 mins and in both instance, a single press of the reset button snaps the sweeping second hand back to the 12o'clock position instantly. So no, I did not have this problem. Perhaps you need to press harder and faster as the buttons can be rather "stiff".

Same, I have not experienced any issue with resetting the chrono. In fact it’s more crisp than my Speedy.

Glad to see your thread here is still alive. I think these new Tudors are brilliant! After the ridiculous “douche” comment, I lost interest in this but I am curious how your issue with the Breitling base movement worked out? I have a couple of those movements in other watches and over time they have seized up…

My AD has the black reverse panda in the window yesterday. I tried it on, and it’s a nice watch. Didn’t pull the trigger however (the 41mm tudors wear quite big on me), and went away to think about it. 10mins later, it was gone!

Nice watch though. Would like to see the white in the metal also.

Mine broke… I guess the replacement part for it is on a slow boat from Switzerland… it’s already been over a month they are telling me I’ll be lucky to get it back by Christmas

Ben, thank you for posting the photo. The watch looks great.

I placed a deposit for one. The AD told me January, 2020...

I am in the same boat, no pun intended. This past Friday, 13 weeks less 1 day since purchase from my AD, the pushers stopped working. I've barely even used the chrono function, may once or twice when I bought the watch, just to see if it worked.

Friday, I was actually timing something, engaged with a nice click, then reset with a nice click. A couple times. Next time I went to stop the chrono, the pushed wouldn't click off, just pushed in, no click. Other pusher wouldn't click either. Hacked the watch, no dice. Was keeping time fine, but both pushers malfunctioning.

Took it into my AD, they wrote it up, and will send it off for warranty. No timeframe for me getting it back. I really like this watch. It looks, and keeps pretty good time. So we'll see.

I have another steel and gold chrono that works perfectly… maybe the rush to get these out to the consumers skipped some quality control measures that should’ve been??? FYI I still don’t have mine back yet I try not to think about it but I do miss it and I’m ready to wear it.

I'm still undecided which color I like more. But this picture sure makes a strong argument for the white dial

These photos make a strong case for the reference. I find the date complication a very attractive feature.

Hit up my AD and initially they just had the stainless black dial on leather strap, but when I went in to view it, they also had the steel & gold black dial on two-tone bracelet.

Hard decision, but I really liked the simplicity of the stainless black dial and the distressed leather band, giving it an added element that I really enjoyed (minus the bund). My SA felt the stainless black dial went better with my style, so that was his recommendation. Really excited about getting the black dial stainless!

Apparently I am unable to post photos (links) since I don't have 10 posts, so I'll share as I get more active in this community.

I got the call for a white gold daytona on the oyster flex, unfortunately it looked like a 37/38mm on my wrist and didn’t work. Luckily my amazing AD said try the Tudor Chrono and it fit much better on my wrist. Went in for a Daytona and ended up with the Tudor panda.

Congrats! This is the importance of ADs having on-hand inventory to try on so you can make the right decision!
