The purpose of a good hijack is to ignore the subject at hand and make replies that have noting to do with that subject. As the original subject IS hijacking, every reply will be on-topic thus making hijacking impossible. So yes, we are both underrated and underpaid

Ignore the original subject? I never read the posts anyway, so I have no idea what the threads are about. It's 4:36 DEST and I can't sleep.

Hijacking is a very refined art. A master of this art does it without the originator of the thread actually realising he's been had.

In addition, the Master Hijacker employs many and varied techniques to execute the hijack. Some are subtle, some are quite overt. For example, I just hijacked (subtly) Adrian's post, which was a hijack of the OP's post (in this case, the hijack had been requested - very rare, indeed). This is known as the "layered hijack". We employ this technique all the time on TRF. Then, if someone hijacks MY hijack of Adrian's hijack, that is known as the "double-layered hijack".

These are just a few examples of the hijacking art. It's all just so complicated and intricate that those who are not professionals should try to refrain from doing it at all.

Well Joe, it could be called that in his "profession", but the techniques are quite different (obviously).

Double layered, don't you mean the laminated hijack. This of course is a multi layered hijack of extreme difficulty and should only be attempted by a master hijacker. Many have tried and have failed miserably.

But what I really want to know, is which is better; Rolex or Omega?
