New Yacth Master 18k gold with black dial and band purchase
I'm new to the rolex and have an opportunity to purchase a new Yacht Master 226658. I've done some research and see that the value over the last year has significantly dropped and does t seem to be slowing down in the downward trend. My question is this something I should wait to buy or go ahead and purchase now?

If you like it grab it. You’d probably be able to get it cheaper elsewhere but buying from a AD when you’re starting out is a no brainer. No risk. My first was a Two toned DateJust 41 from one, very unpopular and hence doesn’t hold it’s value but I wanted a dress watch with a little bling and don’t really plan to sell it. But one day if i ever traded it in for something else Id rather it held more value. To each their own. I personally like that Yatch Master a ton; sporty, tough, precious and goes with everything. Life’s short, have fun!

If you’re going to buy it and keep it a while, it’s likely a good idea. Furthermore, if there are other watches you want, that would be a good first purchase to get you some spend history with the AD that will help you get harder to get watches.

Thanks for the info. I do live this this watch. Just don't want to over spend if I can get it cheaper elsewhere or 6 months from now.
