Congrats on the new watch! I love it when Texans avoid waitlists.

Congrats! Such a great watch. I think this will likely be the next watch I put my name down on the “list” for.

Try not to get this AD shut down now that you've given them business please.

- The brown is very deep 'chocolate' IRL. Sometimes it's almost black.
- Rose gold disappears in some light and simply looks polished, other times it's more pronounced (compare pics)
- Has a slight heft to it while still being very comfortable

It's challenging to photograph since cell phone cameras have auto white balance and make the brown appear "Longhorn orange." But here goes.

PS. Yes I'll eat a big helping of crow now that I somehow skipped the mythical waitlist
Congrats and enjoy, it's a belting watch and makes any of the stainless GMT's look a little average when next to it. Wear it in good health!

Congratulations! CHNR looks so good on you!

Btw just curious, do u think the centre bracelet links are solid gold or only gold coated?

Thanks!

Solid for the links, AFAIK. I think we'd have heard about it if they were merely plated ("WTH - had my watch refinished and now the bracelet is back to being plain old SS"!) The bezel on this model also appears to be gold.

Huge congrats, really happy for you! I am not feeling sorry for you any longer, you are one of the “chosen ones” now, enjoy it! The CHNR looks real good on you and I hope you feel it was worth the wait!

Congrats, that watch is WAY underrated, and I expect one day a bunch of folks will be kicking themselves for not getting it when available.

Bezel, crown centre links, handset and indices are solid 18ct Everose. Only the clasp is gold "capped".

No current Rolex has gold coating/plating or capping apart from on the clasps of TT references

Tried a CHNR on yesterday in my first ever visit to an AD... absolutely stunning watch & congrats on getting one! Was heavier than I though it would be on the wrist too which I liked too. I found the AD experience way better than I thought, the SA said 1-2 years for the Root Beer...

PS - Congrats amh! Looks great on you and your pictures are a good reflection of what it actually looks like in real life.

The brown cerachrome can be quite orange in certain light, but that's all part of the charm imo

For me it was a 1-year wait on the RB from the time I requested it. BLNR has been forever and will likely continue even at this AD. I think RB is easier, guessing similar to Sub LV.

The experience has made me more relaxed. I'm a problem solver by nature and getting a Rolex from an AD these days is quite the "Gordian Knot." I still don't have any suggestions for those on the lists other than:
- Don't be a douche (Most of you would probably enjoy having a pint with me IRL although my cranky/impatient side often comes out online )
- Visit occasionally
- Don't buy jewelry or unwanted watches
- Don't give up

The best Rolex TT ever made IMHO. In fact, the only one I would wear. Love it!

I know you have waiting for a GMT long time ago, so big big big congrats!
