Thoughts on this 1675
I posted this watch on the facebook group and received some welcome advice but more feedback is never bad when it comes to these kinds of purchases!
The watch in question is marketed as a 1965 1675. SN is 11XXXXX, and has papers with matching SN. It contains 1565 cal movement (stamped 1560). Caseback appears to be 63 which seems fine. Dial is a MkVI tritium dial with presumably hands swapped at same time. Bezel as well though I'd welcome more feedback on the insert. the seller states the bracelet is a later 70s model. I've wanted a 1675 since getting into watches and this is the first one i've found that ticks the boxes for me in terms of being within what I want to spend, and having some service parts meaning I can wear it daily and not stick it in a safe forever. |

Looks like a lot of new parts on a vintage watch. It is not a Mk6 but a service tritium dial. Honestly, I do not think it makes a difference on that watch.. See here: https://gmtforum.com/viewtopic.php?f...82acf48ee45b7b |

Check the hands perhaps... as HR hand has no oxidation whatsoever and as such both might be Luminova service not tritium.
Quick under U.V. or L.E.D and up your jumper test will tell. It as a USA 'coffee bean' Jubillee bracelet btw....but the very poor photo no 133 is usually earlier style stamp though, but I'm no expert on USA bracelets and the photo might not be linked as next but 3 (no 136) is an Arabic dialled small block Tudor ref 79260 !!

Enjoy the GMT 1675 and congratulations on your purchase. I have one myself and find them a worthy vintage model to own!

I will second TimeToGo's opinion.Way too much for my liking. For $18,700 in the USA, you should be able to find a very nice 1675 that isn't full of service parts. Keep searching.

Do you have photos of the engravings? Absolutely zero case wear from the bracelet looks odd.

This has to be a pass even with a UK premium. There has to be a more honest example for that price.
