Appears that no one has made it to the top of the SS Pepsi wait list yet

It was great meeting all you guys, thanks very much for the nice evening.

(No need to thank me for showing up and as an American, raising the class level of the entire group).

Awesome, Steve!
It must have been great to have a GTG in your home town.

Well done!

Hmm, perhaps an inauspicious first post, to create a resurrect a long-necrotic thread, but do these get togethers happen anymore? Or did they never really get off the ground in the first place? And/or did COVID put paid to them?

I would be interested. If only to be exposed to a better class of watch…

Yes, we did have a couple of GTG's in Melbourne but that was some years ago now.

I expect there are some people interested to have a GTG in Melbourne (I for one)

How does one organise a GTG…?

Sounds, thus far, like two of us would be interested…

I'm suggesting Pacific BBQ in Toorak Road, South Yarra.

This would be fine by me.

Not entirely sure how we gather enough momentum to make this happen, though.

Or Mexican food in Port Melbourne.

Tuesdays are best (buy 2 get 3 tacos).

Also fine. I might go out on a limb and speculate that it might be more likely to have COVID-safe outdoor seating…

After Watches and Wonders, so we can discuss the new Daytona? ;-)

I'd be keen
I'm in Melbourne fairly frequently these days

Tried to get in with the local Redbar Chapter but couldn't make the dates line up

Would be nice to meet some fellow watch enthusiasts and see a few pieces in the metal
