YM 16622 - hour indices discoloration?
Hello, I am currently shopping a few YM 16622 and one (circa 2007) that I have my eye on has some (IMO) odd discoloration on the hour indices. See attached.
As a side note, I've seen images of the watch in a darker room and indices in question are luminous however the lume at the 9 o'clock discoloration is still present in the dark. This watch in particular has my attention because, I trust the seller, overall condition (except hour indices), with box/papers, warranty, etc. - my only question(s): (1) is this discoloration normal or to be expected on any 16622? (2) what could cause this? Thanks - James |

I've never seen discolouration on superluminova. Maybe the sign of water damage at some point? I own a YM 116622 pt dial since 2015 and the lume plots look like new. Same with my 2005 Omega PO.
This bezel doesn't look right either. There are dark spots as if it got poorly polished or touched up instead of properly sandblasted. Do you have pictures of the whole head? |

I have a 2007 Z serial and no discolouration on lume as your model displays.
Do you have any service history? I suspect a RSC would want to address those issues?

Did the 16622 have the chapter ring?

That looks like that dial have been exposed to moisture.

Hands also seem to be scratched. And some dirt on the Date wheel.
I would pass. |

Is there like a weird pattern of glue or something behind the cyclops as well.
