Rolex seems to have gone with two tone bezels for the GMTs (Pepsi, Batman/Batgirl,Rootbeer) and retired the solid black. Why doesn't Rolex make a ceramic Coke bezel? I would consider that in a SS model while I probably would go with Rootbeer for the TT. Thanks in advance.

I certainly find my 16700 more practicable than the 16710 in that regamrd, though love both - superb watches!

I don't understand this comment. The GMTII doesn't have a quickset date because it uses that crown position to move the hour hand, which is much more useful when travelling from one time zone to another. But if you want to just set it to a second time zone and then not mess with it, then the GMT and the GMTII are equivalent, aren't they?

Or do I misunderstand what you're saying?

Did the 16713 ever come with a full brown bezel?

Watchbox has a 16713 for sale and I can't tell if a 16718 bezel was set on a 16713 case.

The 2015 model may have an updated quick-set hour hand mechanism, assuming the 2009 hasn't been serviced and an updated mechanism applied.

There was an issue with the hour hand mechanism in the original 3186 movement wearing prematurely in some watches.

Visually, the dial font may be different and the clasp blade on the earlier models are media / sand blasted rather than polished.

Gmt master i reliabilty

Hallo,

I am new to the Rolex world and would like to purchase a GMT Master I. I would like to know whether the reliability of Ref 6542 1675 16750 and 16700 is about the same or which Ref is preferable from a reliability point of view.

Thank you for teaching me

They did make a Coke bezel it’s the red and black, and by far the root beer is the best model in my opinion’

GMT ii discontinued

Hello, this is my first time posting here, so I came here to ask if anyone has any predictions on the value of GMT ii discontinuing their black ceramic tiles and their yellow gold solid and two tone oyster band.
Will the value Go up since it’s discontinued ?

Also I can buy a GMT ii 2020 two tone yellow gold black dial and ceramic bezel,
With original box and papers for $14,500 is it a good deal?
