Fake Zelle Emails

Hi All,
In retrospect, this seems very obvious. But, I'll share anyway.

I have watches cross posted on Facebook Marketplace. So, this happened there and not here. Someone agree to purchase my watches (Facebook ID is Piotr Mazur) and said he would pay by Zelle. Luckily, my bank texts me when I receive a Zelle payment, so I was on the lookout. Nothing came. He insisted he sent it and suggested I check my email spam. Sure enough, there was an email "from Zelle" saying there was a problem with my account verification. The whole transaction seemed fishy, so I was already being a bit cautious. Anyway, the email came from [email protected]. So, it was clearly a scam.

Anyway, I just thought I'd share since I may have missed this if I was in a rush.

Happy transacting!
