P.2002/e movement….equation of time.

Just curious if anyone knows if this movement has received any of the shortcuts (such as lack of decoration) some recently developed Panerai movements have received.
Does this /e movement tend to have the integrity of the original P.2002 or have corners been cut to save money as other complications were added?
If I bought a watch with this movement from 2018 would it likely have been before these shortcuts were implemented?
Thank you
