An Interesting RSC Service Document From the 1980s.

Below you'll find a vintage Rolex RSC service paper from the later part of the 1980s for a watch from the late 1970s.

Notice some of the services offered back then that are not being offered anymore.

Interesting indeed.

Refinishing/reluming dial and hands, as recently as the 1980s. That's interesting!

Oddly enough, my Tudor Jumbo has hands that were relumed a long time ago and it came with a service card from mid-90s. I wonder if they still did it then it seems to match the tritium dots under uv

Me too. I wonder if that might explain some of the "near miss" refinishes we see from time to time, where they got close but not exact to the original?
