College Football 2023

Anyone catch the ending to the Colorado/TCU game?

I’ll admit, I was doubting Deion but that win is very impressive. Not a big fan of the coach being bigger than the team however it seems to be working for Sanders.

Also, pretty cool to win with his Son as QB. Cool father/son moment.

My Gators laid an egg. It’s going to be a long season for my Gators that’s for sure.

Yep, happy for Prime Time and his squad.

I am looking forward to watching PSU vs. WVU tonight. We Are…Penn State!

And same for VT vs. ODU. Let’s go Hokies! My daughter is a freshman at VT.

Travis Hunter is not human. besides being as good as he is how do you even play 110 snaps of defense + offense in 100 degree heat?

i was also surprised at how good Shedeur is, he legitimately looked elite out there and made almost no mistakes all game. that last scoring drive was just clutch as hell

Hunter was spectacular. That INT was impressive and hopefully he’s played himself into the Heisman conversation

Shedeur Sanders was offered scholarships by half of the SEC and he won 3 Texas state championships in HS. He was gonna be good wherever he landed.

And yeah, Deion likes the story being about him, but I think if you look at the sweep of college football you'll find guys named Pop, Bear, Knute, Woody, Bo and Bud who weren't above cultivating their reputations either.

If PSU isn’t meant to be everybody’s favorite team, then why is the sky blue and white ?

The start of my 53rd season as a fan of the Nittany Lions
I just love them!!

And best of luck to your daughter at Virginia Tech

Waiting for the start of the UCLA opener tonight . My cable provider states Disney wants unreasonably exorbitant fees , so no ESPN . Great .

Boulder has entered the chat…

Great game. Good for the town. Can’t wait to see what they can do at Folsom next week.

Colorado has definitely been the biggest surprise so far this year. As a Trojan fan, now we have one more really good offense to worry about in the final year of the PAC-12.

Drew Allar looked really good. For some reason he reminds me of Hackenberg

We attended Rutgers vs. Northwestern. RU won 24-7. It was so hot and Sunny, with no cloud cover, that people were passing out left and right. We left in the second quarter with a 17-0 lead and took the Medicare shuttle bus back to our car ( most of the bus were older Scarlet Knights). Today was a good game to watch for 21 year olds ( although we saw little kids passed out).

Glad college football is back. Some takeaways but still early and difficult to draw a lot of conclusions.

After watching my school hit rock bottom in 2020 and 2021, (and I do mean rock bottom) it's just nice being competitive again. Tell you what, these new transfer rules coupled with the legal cash payouts for players, sure makes rebuilding a roster quickly, much more possible than it used to be.
