New IWC Ingenieur Owners - How is your lume?

I've had my new white dial Ingenieur for a few months now and am really happy with it.

However, I'm starting to think there is an issue with the lume which seems to be non existent even when I've been in the sun all day. I've not tried it with a UV light, but regardless it is performing very poorly in natural sunlight.

Be keen to hear what other owners have experienced before deciding whether to raise with AD. Thanks

No issues with the lume. The photo below shows the aqua Ingenieur luminescence, which is fueled with natural light on a cloudy day. Not super bright but on par with other watch models.
Best to bring your Ingenieur back to the boutique. Mine needs to be regulated. It is losing 20+ seconds a day.

Thanks for the reply, my lume looks non-existent compared to your photo so I'll speak to the boutique. Sorry to hear about your timing issues, haven't noticed any similar issues on my end. Enjoy the piece.

You are welcome. Minor issue which can be easily fixed.
Love the ingenieur. Wear your inge in good health!

My lume works great as well. I charged it last night at 8 pm and it is readable with my night adjusted vision at 0500.

Watch runs slow but not that bad. Could be a winding thing with the 5 days of power reserve. Maybe you're running near the end of the spring without realizing it.

I get -5 spd on the winder which I can tolerate unless it gets worse. Crown up it is -0.8 spd.

It takes 100+ turns to top off the mainspring. You will eventually feel obvious additional resistance and I stop there.
