Got the call….

https://ibb.co/8mZzncP
(Not my pic)

Waited a year and a half and only purchased a blue Seamaster 300m in august 2022 from the AD. Surprised she remembered as once I went on the list i never inquired about the Sub, even when I went in to get the SMP so I’m surprised and excited nonetheless!

Let’s see how this compares to my Seamaster - after a few months one of them will be for sale As I don’t like rotating watches or keeping multiple.

Congratulations!!! Impressed with your willpower of being able to control the illness of owning way more watches than what one needs. But that’s the life of a collector. ;)

I get the reluctance to rotate watches. I also get that you have two comparable references. That said, the SMP is going to lose a ton of value if you resell. Have you considered going with a nato or rubber strap for the SMP? That might differentiate it enough to justify both?

I have both the sub-date and the blue 300M.
There are many occasions and places I won’t wear the sub and that’s when I throw the omega on.
Time and place for both IMO

Congrats!

I have both a Sub (ND) and SMP 300M blue. Both are fantastic watches. Love both for different reasons. Look forward to hearing back on what you prefer and why. Until then…enjoy your new timepiece!

Congratulations!!

Keep the SMP. You’re going to get smoked if you resell to the point where it’s not even worth it.

I have an SMP and a sub and can confirm there’s room for both in a collection. Both incredible watches. Call me crazy but I reach for my SMP more than my sub
