Dropped my PAM 2305, please advice
Hello everybody,
Yesterday while changing the strap I dropped my new panerai submersible (PAM 2305) from about 3 feet on a wooden table. It was loud and it bounced off the table. No exterior damage whatsoever and it keeps time and winds up just fine.. It was a loud automatic watch, i could even hear it while walking and shaking my hand.. But.. after knocking it on the table it seems to be even luder, maybe it is just my nerves but it realy seems louder and even the thicking without moving the watch seems louder (before the knock I couldn’t even hear it). Also louder when moving the hours hand while setting the time.. Should I be woried and get it serviced ? Or maybe everything is ok ? Tnx in advance |

Watch it for a few days
First Id wind it full and let it sit, see how the power reserve is and if no loss there Id keep an eye on accuracy for a few days. If both those seem OK you are lucky and should be OK If you notice a big change in either accuracy or power reserve Id get it serviced.

Just as likely that you’re overthinking it. Live with it for a while.

It's fine IMO...dropped my AP diver on a marble floor from about 4ft. Put a nice dent/fold in the bezel, thing still works perfectly.

I agree with live with it for a while. That's not a far fall. If the noise bothered you before the fall, ask your AD or boutique their opinion of the noise.

Panerai movements, in my experience, have been very robust. I think you’re overthinking it. If it starts losing time I’d get it checked out.
