Well now I’m definitely not gonna be able to get their watches :(

All kidding aside, very well deserved for both brands.

Didn't you get the allocation for the rose gold SBCA? Are there any updates from Simon?

Congrats for the Bel Canto C1 and also to L'Epee 1838. Kari V got an award too.

PS: Simon Brette got one too.

Sadly no. The last contact I had was back on May 15th where they asked if I was interested in purchasing the Red Gold case. I responded that I was interested but no updates since. My assumption is that I might be on a waitlist if others decide to cancel their order. Also I’m sure they’ve been very very busy so I get the lack of any new info.

According to the website ~ this prize rewards a competing timepiece created by a young brand (less than ten years of existence since its first model was commercialised). This prize is discretionary and the Jury will decide whether there are grounds for awarding it each year.

Agree!
Both should get much more recognition and respect
Man, both made already exceptional watches when 95% of the modern, often almost overrated independents wore still diapers

Without Andersen and calabrese I bet 80% of todays independents simply wouldn’t exist. The AHCI opened the door for the world of independents
