Submariner question?

Hi

I have had my Sub LV (M) for over a year. While I was looking at it. A good look at it the other day. I noticed a very small difference in the width of the part of the oyster case where the bracelet meet the case it is so small however noticeable and in fact it seems to me the side with the crown has slightly smaller widths then the other side. I am not able to post a pic right now as I am away from home without a camera but to help explain the watch has 4 points two top and two bottom where the bracelet connects. If that helps. I am asking the experts if this is normal or if all four points should be of equal widths?

Yep.. looking from the top..the width of the lugs at the spring-bars is identical.. However, it is not symmetrical and the crown side curves in closer to the case before flaring out to make the case guards..

At the root (next to the case) the lugs are a few thousandths different..
