Wonderful news. Congratulations to you both. It’s the best thing you could ever hope for. The second you meet your baby, your life will instantly change for the better.

Thank you all!

I'm excited to be a girl dad! Any advice from other girl parents out there?

I have yet to ever mention this online to anybody either, and we just drove up to my parents in NY state on labor day to tell them in person, but we're expecting too. A girl.

I'm scared sh*tless too - beyond words. This was not planned and completely unexpected (thought impossible really)... the problem is I'm in my mid 40s and I feel like I will need a cane at her high school graduation.

Never ever too old.

My mum had me when she was 45. She lived a long life and they were both amazing parents to me. Wouldn’t have changed a thing!

Huge congrats!

I'm excited and can't tell anyone until Christmas but needed to tell someone...so here I am!
Congratulations on the growing family what a happy time of life

There's nothing quite like your little girl telling you she loves you.

Congrats

Congrats! Seeing as you posted this to a group of WISs, what watch are you going to get your future child? 36mm is unisex, which would cover your basis depending on if it's a girl or boy... Maybe a PT DD!

Good question. I have a 36mm 1803 YV with champagne linen dial. It was my grandfather’s watch and will go to one of my children.

Other options include my wife’s Cartier Pasha C or the 6917 I bought her a few months ago. Decent choices!
