I believe the official “rule” is two per reference per boutique/espace. But I am sure a lot of the references don’t get even two allocations per year let alone two BLs.

One thing still puzzles me is how the BL minute repeater is more expensive than the sapphire dial. I am quite sure it costs more to manufacture a sapphire dial than a black dial. But logic never applies in this hobby.

Is there any guideline for ordering or requesting a black label? How many allocations does someone need to have?

You need to have at least 2 non-BL before they allocate you.

During my last conversation with my rep he made it clear that you have to have 3 mechanical allocations. Eleganté no longer counts.

The allocation process for black label has been very inconsistent over the years. When I got mine I had just the one. I actually ordered it same day as picking up my CO. Delivered 6 months later.

Given how much the pricing dynamic for the brand has shifted beyond it’s original core values, I wouldn’t be surprised to hear that the self imposed limitations on black label allocations is no more.

Pierre spoke to a pretty large audience in New York about how the dial on the black label only costs more because they can. As I had my black label on in the crowd. It is not a function of cost to produce.

Lovely collection. All you are missing is a TN to complement the Chronometre Optium and the Resonance.

What is on the right? I bet it is something nice too.

I’ve never had one! Wife did. It was the pink with diamonds.

I thought you were considering trading it in an Eleganté towards a greubel forsey.

BL CO is for me the best and most "complete" watch that FPJ makes! I got mine in 2022:

The BL CO is the best reference to be made in BL IMHO. Hopefully one day I can obtain one.

I like that the upgrade to platinum is a modest price increase.

Yes, I agree. It’s a very reasonable up charge to go from rose gold to platinum with Journe. And that’s the same price difference between the rose gold and platinum in every model, regardless of initial price point.

Absolute stunner, congrats

Does anyone know what currents prices (Euro/CHF) are for the 40mm RG and P by chance??

The 40mm is sized correctly.

I find the 42mm to be cartoonish.

The color, dimensions, and angle are perfect.

I'm praying for allocation this year…
