I'm starting to really appreciate these vintage seiko's..

Ordered a mint 6309-8230 and was really shocked how much I like this watch. The bracelet is vey comfortable. The dial looks great. I payed $140 for mine and thought it was kind of high but, I took the sellers word on how great of condition it was in. It kind of makes me wanna grab a few more because I'm afraid people are gonna realize how great these vintage seiko 5's are.

Vintage Seiko is a great world. I've dipped in the pool a bit myself. Even if you make a misstep, you're not out a whole lot of money.

I think the automatic chronographs are still undervalued, and the real sleeper are the 70s watches with funky dials.
My friend has a large collection of the Seiko Twin Quartz watches.

I would agree. All those funky dials and colors from the 70’s are getting really popular. Any stuff that’s is in good condition is getting snapped up quick. I can’t imagine the watches were treated very well considering the cheap prices back in the day. There’s probably a real smaller amount of nice watches that are original than we think. Honestly I buy what I like to wear But, if I were to park my money and bet on it right now I would feel very very comfortable with vintage seikos.
