Watchbuyersgroup in Pasedena California is hands down the best service center in the country. They give you shipping labels too included in the price both ways. Talk to Ben.

Well I received an email this morning that my watch service has been completed at the Rolex service center in Dallas. They received it on January 25th. I authorized service January 29th and received email today stating service is complete, call it just under 5 weeks. I just got off the phone with RSC and provided payment information and it will ship 1-3 days. Will post some pics when she arrives!

Count yourself lucky. 4-5 weeks service is actually is pretty good.
I am coming from Leica world, a simple service at Leitz takes about 4-5 months. Literally months....

I understand watchmaking is a very skilled thing and not a lot of people have the skill, but 4-5 months is insane!

This 100%. If using a jackhammer, snowblower, impact wrench, etc, I wouldn't wear a mechanical watch. There are very few situations when I don't wear a Rolex. I have a G-Shock and suggest getting something similar. Shock is one of the biggest enemies of a mechanical watch and I'm sure you know not to bounce one off of an unforgiving tile floor.

I am glad you are getting your watch back from service. Almost like a new watch in my experience.
