Did you go to the Rodeo boutique first?

I've been waiting so far 6+ months, no ETA. Some purchase history, but not sure it would make all much of a difference on this particular piece for my case.
With AD or the boutique?

I heard they no longer take deposits for basic three hands model.

Surprisingly I made an appointment at a boutique and 35MM dial pink gold, blue dial is available for me to purchase. I didn't think they would have any stock for the Overseas.

There are no longer multi-year waitlists, or any waitlists for that matter (at least in the NYC boutique). I was contacted last month regarding the 4300v—both metals were readily available. Seems the Overseas models are less in demand now.

What country was that at? It seems like there is a big disparity depending on location.
Here in Korea, when I inquired about the dual time, I was told 1-2 yrs for blue, a few months for sliver, and virtually no wait for black. When I went (which was a couple mos ago) they had a black that I got to try on but was spoken for. I was told if I wanted one on black, I would get the next one, which would probably be a few days to 2 weeks.

I have rejected an Overseas Perpetual skeleton ultrathin recently. And twice was offered the tourbillon skeleton in titanium. Could not stomach the price after the price increases since I put my name down. My wife just got the steel 34.5 overseas a few months ago though. I was surprised the price was actually more than when I got the 4500v blue. Richemont is pricing its brands out of competition IMHO.

I wonder if Richemont really is pricing itself out of the competition.

They don’t need waitlists to succeed. They may not like wait lists anyway, particularly long ones. They just need the pieces to sell within a relatively good period of time. Several people turning down pieces doesn’t hurt them so long as they’re not sitting in the cases for a year.

And one way they’ve controlled things is make some of the most desirable models boutique only.

Just got a deposit link yesterday for the blue Overseas 3 hand model. I bought a 1921 this time last year so there is purchase history. Anyone know what the average wait time is post-deposit?

My SA at the NYC boutique said he's unsure of when they'll actually have one in store for me, which felt odd given they just asked me to wire them 10k.

If they are taking deposits, they’d better deliver.

Were you on the list, and then they asked for the deposit after some time. Or did you just ask and they sent the link right away?

There are some old posts here about the deposit puts you in the actual queue to be like less than a year. But that was a couple years ago maybe.

Vacheron wait list?

My experience are if you pay deposit you will get your watch. There’s no doubt about that. And you will not pay over if there will be price increase in that period.

I was on the list. I purchased the 1921 last April, instantly got on the list for the panda chrono, realized it was too big for me around October when they had one for me to try on, and then switched to the blue regular OS.

I thought getting the deposit link meant they had watch either in hand or it was going to be on the way, but it appears that's not the case. Kind of annoyed as I was trying to time it to celebrate getting my yearly bonus, which I told my SA about back in October, but now I'm just still waiting for some indefinite amount of time.
