Panerai Gurus out there…

Happy Friday all
,
A quick question for all you Panerai Gurus out there.
I saw this beauty a while back and loved the way it looks, so I snapped a picture to see if it was something I’d look into at some point. Well we’re at “some point “ lol
The dial looks matte with gold hands. The only model I’ve been able to put it close to is the 352 but that came with a brown dial I’m I correct in that?
Here is the image I captured.
Thanks

Thanks Joe,
Appreciate your input, so do think it is the model 352 or is there something else similar I haven’t found yet?

Yes, looks like a 352 with heavy processing.

Thanks for chiming in and confirming it. They did one hell of a job capturing the beauty of it for sure. Ok so the hunt is on. Fingers crossed

If you want a black dial, I think you should look at the 1312.

I own the 351 and it is one of my favorite watches. The brown dial and gold hands are great and, as with most Panerai watches, it is a strap monster. I have owned quite a few Panerai's over the years with bracelets and have found that they do not work very well for me. It is hard to dial the fit in and I am not aware of a model that has a micro adjustment for a bracelet much less and adjustment on the fly. Obviously you can take the bracelet off and use straps but that is not the point of getting a bracelet model. I would just get the standard 351 and skip the bracelet premium. Good luck and let us know how it goes.

There’s something about Panerai brown dials …

Thank you for your advice.
I am not looking for a particular dial color per se,
I just saw that image and was
Impressed with its beauty. I did look at the 1312 and the only thing about that model
that wasn’t for me was the blue hand and the additional line of font on the dial. Not saying it’s not a great looking watch at all just that I guess at this point I’m just comparing it to the images that peaked my interest in the first place. Here are a few more images that really has me wanting to put it on my wrist to see if it’s as captivating.

The 352 is one of the most underrated references. The tobacco dial and gold is gorgeous. Keep in mind, it is also titanium - and one of the most comfortable bracelets you'll ever wear. Tobacco dial/gold hands/titanium case is a classic Panerai combination. If you want black you will get a steel case with black or silver hands. The tobacco/titanium is much more refined looking...less blingy...even with the gold hands.

Thank you so much for the comment. :) I actually was at our local Rolex AD today getting my wife her Birthday present. They had a preowned 1312 I got to check out. I really like the way the 352 looks. It’s to bad they didn’t have one or I most likely would’ve ended up bringing that home today as well.

My mistake. I wanted to recommend the 312. I forgot that they changed the hand and dial with the 'updated' version.

Thank you I’ll check that out.
The 1312 replaced the 312 right?
