This is an old thread. But yeah, we made up over that -- she's found plenty of other things to be mad at me about since though!

So all Rolex quick set date change mechanisms have the capacity to change over within say +/- 60 seconds to midnight. Some GMT movements have a bit more slack in the dial train which can make this more challenging when aligning the hands. That said, if a watchmaker puts in the time and effort, greater precision IS absolutely achievable.
