+1 on doing this yourself if you have the tools and steady hands. TBH, I don't entirely trust SA's unless your SA (and this applies to many things you give for service) is a big enthusiast or OCD; otherwise you will generally take better care of your stuff...

Now if you don't know how to do it or don't have the tools, then obviously have the SA do it but ask them to be careful I guess.
