Pet Peeve!

I love reading the various threads on the forum but I have to say the one thing that kills a thread for me is when it is hiyjacked and I have to endure a bunch of innane drivel!

I get into a really interesting, informative thread and then it goes off on tangents that completly obliterate the topic.

I can understand it happening to diffuse a bad thread, one that is throwing personal insults but when it is an informative or techincal thread it really bugs me that I have to skim a bunch of nonsense to get back to the meat of the subject.

I do not see it as much on other forums as I do on this one, when I do see it it usually get's handled in short order by the mods but the mods here seem to get right in with it most times!

A lot of what is written in the hiyjack would be best written in pm's as to the rest of us it is of no relevance or importance.
