So you only wear divers? There are so many more types of watches. Study them, to see if any appeal to you. Add a Datejust, or a GMT, or a Daytona. If you really can’t think of another watch you like, save your money! You have a nice rotation, though not much variety.

Five divers seems excessive. Branch out a little.

It's hard to not be a smartass here...

Since you clearly have a thing for modern Rolex divers (yawn), the only place to go next is full gold. Either yellow or white gold Sub - but that should be your next watch.

I would sell off the bottom 3 on your list and out the money into a WG Sub.

This or as others have stated start branching off and find some new brands to take some interest in!

I'd say you are missing a Chrono (Daytona) and GMT (Master II)

You like divers, which is cool.

I would without question buy this one. Seems you are okay with size. I think these are beautiful and would spice up your collection. My preference would be the blue.

This watch was my thought also. Then for the next one do a Blancpain fifty fathoms.

Solid choice. Traditional looking dive watch with JLC level watchmaking (a step above Rolex from a finesse standpoint).

However, if OP were to go Rolex, GMT would be my bet. I really like the vintage GMT suggestion.

I appreciate all the candid input!
most of which I would not have thought of.

since I consider this a very long term journey I will reference this thread in the future!

I did put in another request, this one is rather special since my 1st child is due soon and I plan on handing that piece down to him!.

at the very least ill tell you all that I didn't switch brands as I feel that Rolex resonates with my own core values, so I am loyal in that sense.

once I receive it I'll update you all!

thank you very much!

You really need a 16610 Submariner and/or a 16600 Sea Dweller in that dive collection. Or even a 16618 - the ultimate 5 digit Sub in my opinion.

A Winchester Model 70 in .270 or a 69 Camaro SS.

Perhaps a Vietnam era Randall Model 1 knife.

Or a few St Gaudens double eagles.

Really nice group of watches.

So, your choices are: continuing the diver theme or going for something different.

No wrong answers, as there are so many great watches in the line up.

Why not decide for yourself, what are you after or is it just about owning another watch?

Every watch you own is basically the same, so open your eyes and look at what is on the market and not the same as what you currently have.

There are thousands of watches on the market, I'm sure that you can find something that fires up the passion to own it.

If sticking with Rolex, I would sell 3 or 4 of those and get a DD.

Surprise!!!

So to update you all on what happened since the original post.

My sd50 was giving me some troubles, basically running slow.
My ad sent it out to rolex and i received it back on 9/14.

Now at that time I still haven’t recieved my my “allocation”.

However my ad had 8 watches available.

So I purchased the datejust below!!!

I would hav never requested this piece but i fell in love with after trying it on.

I told my sa that i was now complete and my son could arrive anytime!

Well he was born 9/17!!!!

So this watch marks a very special occasion.

I am still on the allocation list for the other piece, which is a blessing in of it self!

Thanks gang!

Add a GMT or a Patek, that will make it a complete collection IMO.
