I have a couple of bi metal end pieces that have the letter J stamped at the opposite end to the number . Anyone know what this letter stamping signifies ?
Thanks

Got a picture.

J stampings may indicate the year 1985, but it depends on the context..

Just came across this old thread: the codes "J" ("jaune", French for yellow) and "R" ("rouge", French for red/pink) signify the color of the applied gold.

Greetings,
Xeramic
