I would make a gentleman’s bet that you are wrong about the pink chrono. I bought my first Tudor in the late 90’s and they have never had a truly limited offering since. Once they posted it on all their international websites with a price, the mystery and rumors were over, they will pump out as many as they think they can sell. My local US Tudor dealer says they will trickle in at first as is usual but they expect them in their well stocked case within six months. They are making no claims as to their rarity.
I will gladly send you money to buy the beverage of your choice if I’m wrong.

I dunno, if he’s getting it to flip, it’s a no brainer. But to wear? Maybe he likes the Tudor more? And it’s much cheaper.
